  • Study in Berlin

    2010 - 03.10

    Hey,
I am a part-time undergraduate from Berlin University. This is actually my first year and I would like to discuss my own experience with you.
So, I arrived at 9 am and the city was already awake. The school is next to the fantastic centre and the housing is really close to the greatest Berlin Theatre. More than 1200 performances are staged here. Moreover, a huge number of excellent Hollywood comedians are regulars here. It is interesting how affordable seats for college students are. Europeans are quite sociable and helpful. Everyone can have financial aid with not the best qualification achievements. If you are able to work and study, this is the place for you :)

    The Jewish Museum

Lets talk a little bit about the Berlin infrastructure. The area is full of museums, galleries and national monuments. Houses are traditional and renovated, you can sense the very old spirit in the entire metropolis.
Before everything else, my dream was to visit the Jewish Museum. This was the most effective way to experience a glimpse of the world war spirit. There was a portion from the Berlin wall, lots of Jewish heroes and a few of the prisons, commonly known as concentration camps. This all was within a stone’s throw from my apartment hotel in Berlin It was frightening… An additional great museum is Unesco World Heritage site. Furthermore known galleries are Museum of Indian fine art, The Museum of East and Asian Fine Art and many, many more. So, if you make a decision to refreshyour own knowledge, this is the location to begin with.

    Unesco World Heritage

Berlin has a very good economical rate. With almost three and a half million people this is one of the megalopolises with the highest lifestyle standard. Standard income is 2000 euro for every month based on the year 2005 year data. Strange fact is that, nearly 60% of the people have no faith affiliation. A great deal of Muslim and overseas culture there, but the biggest denomination are the Evangelists.
Next Sunday I will be watching a football match between the regional Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin. Seems like a derby match and I expect it will be amazing.
My evenings are really good. The place where we are located is very tranquil and I can enjoy my law readings without any drunk people shouting or yelling around. There are a lot of good places to go out throughout the nights. Night clubs are very popular and a lot of popular dj’s are the typical guests. The price ranges are according to the targeted group. Often at happy hour the products are on store cost.
Plenty of Apartment Rental Berlin are welcoming hundreds and hundreds of holidaymakers each day. This is your city.

    Travelling – Berlin

    2010 - 03.10

    Hey,
I am a young traveller, visiting Europe’s most amazing metropolitan areas. Certainly, Berlin is one of the most fantastic capitals and metropolitan cities in the world. What I found there has two sides. It is easy to obtain something intriguing there. I mean something different from standard traditional monuments, buildings and plazas… When you say Berlin, it is anybody’s guess about World War Two, and being more specific – the Berlin wall. For the people in the city, this is something like the Statue of Liberty for American, only with opposite feelings. I found an amazing 85 years world conflict veteran and it was fantastic to listen to a few quality details. Based on a true story, this man told me about the top line actions. As you understand, German men and women are really vulnerable about the entire war. Now, he is living near the remains of the Berlin wall and with tears in the eyes explained to me about the dead people attempted to escape from East Berlin. Therefore, if you want the top info about Berlin history, you have to go and ask. Citizens are helpful and always available for discussion.

One more amazing part of the metropolis is the huge number of 151 museums like Unesco Museum Island, Altes museum with the bust of Queen Nefertiti, Neues museum, Pergamon, Bode and many more. And obviously, maybe the most important, the Jewish Museum with all the Jews listed who died in the war. There is a special report from the musician Libeskind.
More than fifty concert halls are located in Berlin. The Deustches theatre is the oldest and the greatest. With only a single year break throughout the world war, the theatre has produced more than 10,000 performances. Near the Vacation accommodation in Berlin area you will find one of the three major opera houses – Berlin State Opera.
You can check out the zoo, it is old and provides a lot of species from all over the world. One more interesting element of the city are the sports facilities like the Olympiastadion, which hosted the World cup final during 2006. It is incredible how important sports are. Football is some think of a religion. Every day there are plenty of people enjoying even the practice of the greatest regional football club Hertha Berlin.
So, about the night life, it is fantastic and there are a lot of spots where you can spend your time. Plenty of parties and dancing clubs, good dj’s and great night clubs for you and your friends.
And the Berlin apartment I slept in was very nice!

    All in Brussels

    2010 - 03.05

I am on my way to the last part of my tale of travelling around Brussels and what I saw there. In my last post I need to tell you some more in relation to the folks we met and the friends I made in this country. I stayed at a Brussels Apartments about a week but my pal Mikka helped me get acquainted with the locals, go to to parties with all of them, talk with them and that was a perfect sensation. What occurs as a rule is that a tourist travels to a town, visits the big sights and afterwards comes home to show images. My getaway to Brussels was something different. We got to stay by ourselves in a Brussels Accommodation that was a real bargain since we could dance in it with our new Belgian buddies, it was next to the centre hence we saved dollars on taxis and squandered it wisely on liquor :) .
Anyways back to the main topic- I truly liked my stay in Brussels, there were a great deal of things to do, my local friends took me to The Little Europe, additionally got to see The China Pavillion, art gallery of modern art and countless more that I don’t recall the names of now. There are numerous wonderful things to be seen in Brussels you merely have to have time and buddies to take with you. The night life is perfect, there are loads of discos to check out. I had the opportunity to see some other destinations in Belgium too while on vacation there, yet Brussels endures as the most eye-catching place to me. I am excited to set-up my up coming trip.

    Brussels Intro

    2010 - 03.05

    Hiya,

There it goes one more posting from me regarding our adventures while travelling all over Europe. I honestly loved it out there, the surroundings, the people, the sweets, the places and the history. Our visit to Belgium was the longest and I stayed in Holiday accommodation in Brussels for many days. As I outlined earlier, this wonderful city has much to offer. We decided to see the Atom that was a remarkable area with plenty of things to see. We also discovered the ancient town with its cobbled little avenues and countless little shops and of course the Brussels Manneken Pis. Everything was there and was really amazing to see. I have lots of pictures of sights in Brussels and even so I do not believe I have seen it all.
Oh and the chocolate there was outstanding, unique and tasty, like nothing else a person has tasted, absolutely a must try. Brussels captivated me me with its structures, the way these people have blended current and older architecture  in one. There are numerous galleries that my friends and I saw and really loved – The Fine Arts museum, Royal Residence, The Grand Square. The best thing about my vacation to Brussels was that my partner and I stayed in a vacation apartments in Brussels that was just for me and was right in the centre of the city. This meant I was able to be close to all the activity and night-life the town offered. I seriously adored the country and Brussels and honestly recommend it.

    Belgium – European Capital

    2010 - 03.05

A year ago, some friends and I went on a trip to Belgium to visit a relative of mine and I was impressed with the nature and culture this country has to offer. Being used to broad avenues and imposing buildings in my home city, this country was a stunning change for all of us, travelling to such a different country with so much colour, and a completely different outlook on life. It was certainly a unique feel.
I spent five days in Brussels. I don’t know about the other towns but Brussels was surely an absolute must-see. I fell in love with it right from the very first sight.
The tiny streets, the giant palace, the galleries, everything was excellent. Ah and certainly the chocolates. The biscuits were nothing like what I am used to feeding on, all home-cooked, appetising as though my mum had prepared them. I travelled all over Brussels not only around my apartment in Brussels investigating men and women, structures, animals, striving to remember it forever. My visit was absolutely worth it and Brussels as well as most of Belgium are an splendid travel location and I eagerly urge any person who has time to stop by this country. Oh and last but not least I made the decision to save some dollars on a lodge and rented a small Brussels Apartments which saved me a great deal of money. I do recommend it. I will tell you more about the venues to see in Belgium in some of my following blog posts.
