A year ago, some friends and I went on a trip to Belgium to visit a relative of mine and I was impressed with the nature and culture this country has to offer. Being used to broad avenues and imposing buildings in my home city, this country was a stunning change for all of us, travelling to such a different country with so much colour, and a completely different outlook on life. It was certainly a unique feel.
I spent five days in Brussels. I don’t know about the other towns but Brussels was surely an absolute must-see. I fell in love with it right from the very first sight.
The tiny streets, the giant palace, the galleries, everything was excellent. Ah and certainly the chocolates. The biscuits were nothing like what I am used to feeding on, all home-cooked, appetising as though my mum had prepared them. I travelled all over Brussels not only around my apartment in Brussels investigating men and women, structures, animals, striving to remember it forever. My visit was absolutely worth it and Brussels as well as most of Belgium are an splendid travel location and I eagerly urge any person who has time to stop by this country. Oh and last but not least I made the decision to save some dollars on a lodge and rented a small Brussels Apartments which saved me a great deal of money. I do recommend it. I will tell you more about the venues to see in Belgium in some of my following blog posts.
